Refreshed for the model year, the HYB 8.6 is Boardman’s entry level HYB model. Sleek, Simple, reliable, this lightweight bike offers a fast and comfortable ride for keeping fit, city cruising or just getting around.
The Boardman HYB 8.6 is built on a lightweight, aluminium frame with hidden welds which is paired with a tapered aluminium fork and therefore gives fantastic stability and steering control. Schwalbe 35mm tyres give fantastic grip and comfort whilst providing low rolling resistance to ensure confidence inspiring contact with the ground. They also feature a puncture resistant layer to keep your riding as hassle free as possible.
The HYB 8.6 uses 2×9 Shimano Alivio gears which offer a wide range of options so you have the right gear for every ride and the Tektro hydraulic disc brakes on the HYB 8.6 will give you reliable stopping power in all weather conditions.

The HYB 8.6 is built on a triple-butted aluminium frame which is lightweight and includes features such as dropped seat stays for added comfort. The 1-piece bar and stem*, which includes matching headset spacers, contributes to an overall sleek design finish.

Ensuring that it makes a perfect bike no matter the weather or reason for riding, the HYB 8.6 features mounting points which will allow you to fit a variety of pannier racks and mudguards. When you are loaded up, the powerful Tektro hydraulic disc brakes will make sure you come to a fast and controlled stop come rain or shine. The Shimano Alivio 18 speed offer you the right gear for every ride, whether it’s keeping fit, city cruising or just getting around.
