Recognising this we’ve therefore equipped the women's Carrera Virtuoso with memory foam saddles with a women's specific fit as standard – helping you spend even more time comfortably on your rides.
These saddles are specific to the discipline and their shape is designed to complement that style of riding.
Additional Peace of Mind (and grip!)
To give you even more riding time and not have you standing idle we’re also giving you more peace of mind by fitting ‘Carrera Puncture Protection’ tyres as standard.
Which include an additional layer of puncture resistant material running around the tyre which will help reduce the incidence of punctures.
Additionally, we’ve upgraded the tyres on all Carrera road bikes to a wider 28c width which not only gives extra grip but will run at lower pressures and give a smoother overall ride.
Efficient Modern Gears
With the help of a 16-speed Shimano Claris gear set featuring a compact 50/34t chainset the 2 extra gears over the Zelos give that bit more range for variable terrain.
Gear changes will feel slick and smooth and a large range cassette ensure you'll be transferring energy from the pedals to the rear wheel efficiently.
Better Equipped
Venture further afield with the Carrera Virtuoso which comes with all the fantastic aspects of the Zelos and offers an even lighter ride, thanks to the added addition of the aluminium bladed fork.
You get all the response you need with the Shimano Claris drivetrain making changing through the wider range of gears slick and smooth. Integrated cables add to the clean lines and streamlined cockpit of the Virtuoso.
