Designed and built for speed, the Carrera Zelos has the perfect combination of features for hitting the road featuring a slick lightweight alloy frame and an upgrade on previous with mechanical disc brakes.
Extra Comfort
Customers told us that features such as saddle comfort were a crucial aspect of their riding experience.
Recognising this we’ve therefore equipped the women's Carrera Zelos with memory foam saddles with a women's specific fit as standard – helping you spend even more time comfortably on your rides.
These saddles are specific to the discipline and their shape is designed to complement that style of riding.
Additional Peace of Mind (and grip!)
To give you even more riding time and not have you standing idle we’re also giving you more peace of mind by fitting ‘Carrera Puncture Protection’ tyres as standard.
Which include an additional layer of puncture resistant material running around the tyre which will help reduce the incidence of punctures.
Additionally, we’ve upgraded the tyres on all Carrera road bikes to a wider 28c width which not only gives extra grip but will run at lower pressures and give a smoother overall ride.
Efficient Modern Gears
With the help of a 14-speed Shimano gear set featuring a compact 50/34t chainset you will find that both climbing hills and building up speed on the flat is made easy.
Gear changes will feel slick and smooth and a large range cassette ensures you'll be transferring energy from the pedals to the rear wheel efficiently.
Better Equipped
Designed and built for speed, the Carrera Zelos has the perfect combination of features for hitting the road.
Integrated gear shifters help you find the right gear smoothly and disc brakes are great for all-weather handling. The large tyre clearance means you can switch to a wider tyre as and when you need and just because it’s fast, doesn’t mean you lose out on comfort.
The geometry of these bikes has been designed with getting a good balance between easy riding and performance which combined with the branded components means the Zelos Disc is packed with value.
